Abeerah Zahid has a B.A. in painting from the National College of Arts, Rawalpindi. She explores ideas of truth and authenticity through her work. She was the Artist in Residence at Habib University in 2015 through the Lahore Biennale Foundation. Currently, Abeerah is a visiting faculty member in the Department of Fine Arts at the National College of Arts, Rawalpindi.
Ayesha Khaliq is a mixed media visual artist based in Rawalpindi. She completed her BFA at the Fatima Jinnah Women University in Rawalpindi and her MA in Visual Arts at the National College of Arts, Lahore. Inspired by organic forms, she works with found objects to assemble them into non-objective forms through an additive process that transform the meaning of the original object and materials.
Bahrera Basit has a BFA and MA in Visual Arts from the National College of Arts, Lahore, where she currently teaches. Her work deals with cityscapes as organic forms that exist and multiply to explore the anxieties of rapid urbanization.
Batool Zehra completed her BFA in Visual Arts at the University of Karachi and secured a distinction for her thesis work. Exploring ideas of change, impermanence, deconstruction, and reconstruction, her process involves burning different materials and using the ash to create something new.
Haya Zaidi completed her BFA at the National College of Arts, Lahore with a distinction in miniature painting. Her work is a surreal, mythical embodiment of her vision of the world. She incorporates various mediums to create collages that comment on the cultural, capitalist, and environmental issues of society.
Shabbir completed his bachelor’s in fine arts with a minor in sculpture, photography and woodwork from NCA, Lahore.
Sana holds a BFA from the visual studies department of Karachi University, and a PGD in photography from IVS. She has been a senior lecturer at IVS and an adjunct faculty member at SZABIST media studies department. Her reel artwork has been installed at Safari Park as a part of ‘Reel On Hai’, which is a public outreach committee initiative.
Shameen holds a BFA from NCA with a major in painting. She plays with text on canvas, slightly manipulating the order form, making it less understandable. She changes the text to make it unreadable which evokes the feeling of struggle to understand.
Kiran holds a BFA from GC University and an MFDA from Punjab University with a major in painting. Her work deals with the idea of dichotomy. She believes that nothing exists in singularity. There is always an opposite.
Shakir Ali got his B.A. in Art and Design from the Center of Excellence in Art & Design at the Mehran University of Engineering & Technology, Jamshoro. He works in graphite and pencil to create images depicting ordinary rural life.
